This is not one of those little plastic barrel kits that make undrinkable flat beer; these kits make 5-6 gallon batches of great tasting beverages. The kind of kit 99% of all home brewers start with. You will need 2 things to start and we have combined them on this page. We suggest a third item, a beginners brewing book, but it is not necessary, ingredient kits come with directions, but once the bug bites you these suggested starter books can carry you through your first couple years at least.
